The Northern California Members’ Unity Retreat (NCMUR) organization was established in 2001* to organize and facilitate retreats for members of Sexaholics Anonymous (SA), a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem. The only requirement for membership in SA is a desire to stop lusting and become sexually sober.
The purpose of each retreat is to provide a venue for the fellowship of SA members and to put into action the twelve steps toward spiritual progress. No matter what step or steps a member is working on, they will find help and encouragement. Rather than remaining in isolation, suffering the negative aspects of our addiction alone, we choose to share openly with one another in a safe, nurturing, and even fun environment; so plan on having a great and memorable weekend at a NCMUR retreat!
